Video of the Day: No Doubt – Total Hate [Live]

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

Last Monday night in Kansas City I had the chance to see one of my favorite bands — No Doubt.  They put on a spectacular performance which you can read all about here, but I wanted to share a video that my friend Tara recorded at the show.  A fan in the crowd had made a t-shirt requesting that the band play “Total Hate,” a little-known (but hardcore-fan favorite) from their 1995 independent release the “Beacon Street Collection.”

The band actually did so, and played about a minute and a half of the song before giving up.  Guitarist Tom Dumont couldn’t remember the guitar part, and Gwen was having a bit of trouble with the lyrics.  Anyway, here’s the video, recorded from the 6th row — I enjoyed the show and hope you do too!
