Legendary producer Quincy Jones is set to re-record the charity single “We Are the World,” donating the proceeds to Haiti.

The musicians are set to arrive at a Los Angeles recording studio on Monday to remake the 25 year old track, penned by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.

Jones announced the remake at a private party on Wednesday evening celebrating watchmaker Audemars Piguet’s donation of $1,000,000 to the Quincy Jones Foundation. He did not reveal who is performing on the track, stating that “we’ve got to make sure we’ve got who we got.”

The original featured a veritable whose who of music, including Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, and Billy Joel. It’s a very saccharine song but managed to raise a ton of money back in the day; Hopefully it can do the same for Haiti.

We’ll keep you posted, if and when we learn who the performers are.
