Adam Lambert comes out; surprises literally no one

Surprising literally no one, Adam Lambert has officially “come out” in the newest issue of Rolling Stone. Adam seems both happy and relieved to get this “revelation” off of his chest, even though he knows no one will be surprised. The American Idol runner-up told the magazine that ““I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay.”
Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could be surprised with this news, but he does make the point of saying he wanted to get it “over with” and not wait to come out like Clay Aiken did in a tabloid magazine.
While the magazine isn’t out yet, it hits newsstands starting today, so if you are a fan or interested in Mr. Lambert, be sure to pick it up to read his interview. It’s his first major-magazine cover, after-all.
Here are some other quotes from Rolling Stone’s website:
”I was like, ‘I’m going to glue rhinestones on my eyelids, bitch!’”
“I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler… I didn’t want the Clay Aiken thing and the celebrity-magazine bullshit. I need to be able to explain myself in context.”
“I’m proud of my sexuality, I embrace it. It’s just another part of me.”
“I’m trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader.”
I’m happy for him. I really think he has a bright future ahead of him, so good luck Adam!
After the upset-win by Kris Allen, people immediately began clamoring for news about the two debut albums from the winner and the runner-up… both are scheduled for release this fall, and both are set to have a “pop/rock” vibe.

Adam Lambert should have been the winner of American Idol, such a great talent ‘
