Indie, rap, metal and horribly pretentious music arrived in Norman, OK last weekend for the 3rd Annual Norman Music Festival. Here’s my full report for day #2.

The Dead Weather brought a terrific preview of their new record to Tulsa’s own Cain’s Ballroom. And when I say terrific, I mean fucking amazing.

Prince & The Revolution released Around the World in a Day on April 22nd, 1985. Somehow Prince managed to add psychedelica to his vast repertoire of musical styles, releasing one of the best records of the 80s in the process.
